Re: Moving to South Somerset

Only just seen this. I'm in Somerset, near Wincanton. If you haven't already, check out Langport bike night on Facebook.

No Adrian, it's a homemade copy of a Murray X pipe.

Re: In need of cam caps

Big thanks to Kev for getting his caps to me so fast. I've now got no.2 & 4 which seem OK but 1 & 3 still not great. I can get them spinning pretty good with no dowels but clearly that's not ideal. If anyone else has any 1's & 3's that I could have I'd be eternally grateful. Happily swap...

Re: In need of cam caps

Yeah, thanks Rob. Somebody must be hoarding a load of 'em, as it seems most of the heads that come on ebay are missing the caps. :sad

Re: In need of cam caps

Hi Phillip,
Got to be honest, I'm not 100% sure what it is. It's either z900 or z1000. Round cam cover, and 8mm exhaust studs, though I don't know if that was from the factory.
36mm intake, 30mm exhaust.
The caps on it are non ribbed type.

In need of cam caps

Just realised, the only head I have, has mismatched cam caps :(
Has anybody got a selection of caps they'd be willing to sell/loan me so that I can find four that work?
Alternatively, is there anyone who can make my caps work during this lockdown madness? TIA.

Going on an A4, but with a disc conversion. So 1000A1 or the like.

900 A4 or 1000 A1/2 side panels

Before I order a pair, has anybody got a set for sale? Paint not important, but crack free preferred.
