If it was me i would leave it with the unstamped/blank engine cases.You know the bikes history for the last 15 years or so(that's more than i know about most of mine!).The v5 shows no number so that checks out ok legally etc to any buyers If you change the cases it still wont have matching numbers I...

Just watch the recent speed limit changes on the a449..its a dual carriageway but 40 or 60 limits in places
I haven't seen a camera van on those bits yet but a bike meet is tempting for these income generated things..they work weekends as well and the van is near the four ashes at least once a month

Thanks for the replies I know internet diagnosis is at best difficult:) It is a very much on/off problem..everything else carb wise seems fine..i have checked the tap and fuel lines and best as I can they seem ok...cleaned the carbs 18 months ago and used it regularly since Johny b..thats a good pla...

Its an original tap but seems ok...any ideas why it would only do it when really winding it on..i ask because they were ok back in the day ...I do appreciate it is nearly 40 years old..fuel tap has gone a bit stiffer but just thought that was normal wear and tear I would be ok with a pingle tap Than...

Cutting out when accelerating hard

My 900 has just started cutting out momentarily when accelerating.It only happens when I give it a big handful and when its ridden more sensibly it has no problems It kicks back in straight away when I ease off the throttle.It ticks over fine and seems to be charging ok.I can ride round the problem ...

If you want a v twin cruiser then I would go Harley rather than Jap every time I have had a couple and the modern one..a street bob had no issues at all I sold it 18 months later for the same as I paid for it so resale is good I found the Harley dealer really good for test rides as well..i rode most...

It's younger brother, but with a better looking motor.

I get that but i like those 1300's as well..tank shape etc and you get a 6 cylinder engine
