Lawson horn!

Good morning. That's not a fetish of mine, honest! The horn on my 1984 Lawson R2 has decided to stop working over the winter, I've tested it direct to a battery etc so I was wondering if anyone had one they were willing to part with. I believe the part number is 27003-1143 and fits a variety of bike...

Good evening Dave.

I'll have the oil cooler if it's still available?

Pete.

Yep great warm holiday, not like the very cold weather here!

It's a pleasure mate, good luck with the build.

Re: GPZ 1100 fork balance tube position

Phil.

I hung the tang of the tape at the top of the top mount.
It was 230mm to the top of the bottom mount.
It was 270mm to the bottom of the bottom mount.
It was 216mm to the centre of the balance tube.

I hope this helps / makes sense?

If you need anything else please let me know.

Re: Collection and Delivery

I used Peter Leach on 07768 721443, he was middle of the road for pricing.

He has the bike ramp etc and if he travels with your bike in his van overnight ( like he did with mine ) he has a bed in his van and he sleeps in the van so it's not unattended.

Re: GPZ 1100 fork balance tube position

Phil. The total length of my front fork extended is 825mm, this is what I would describe as a resting measurement with it extended, I've not measured it whilst pulling down against the internal springs. I hope this helps / makes sense. Stu Hi Stugill, I measured mine from the top of the tube to cen...

Re: GPZ 1100 fork balance tube position

Mark. I have the GPz 1100 A1 UT and my balance tube rests on the top of the bottom clamp. If it helps the fork (compressed) in total is 701mm long. The gap between the top of the bottom clamp to the top of the top clamp is about 228mm. I measured 230 with a ruler at an awkward angle so I'm confiden...
