To add photos , post a reply then click on attachments ( highlighted in Yellow below, then Add files button ( highlighted in Red below) The photos need to be JPegs otherwise they dont load ( not HEIC photos for example from an IPhone, they need to converted to Jpegs firstScreenshot 2025-11-23 13162...

I went to the auction today... It was presented very well and was described as the star of the show... sold for £15200.

Z1000H

Looking at a Z1000H locally.

Engine and chassis numbers appear spot on. Its been restored and I'm ok with that.

Anything I should look out for in particular?

Hmmm I've got a '79 XT500 that I'm restoring. The aluminium tank is half polished and half painted but its all covered in laquer that's cracked over the years. I'm thinking about trying to polish the laquer off so I can keep the original paint and decals underneath. Any advice? Cheers Rich Feeling ...
