Oh course you're correct re breather hole in reservoir cap but even so to have absorbed that much water just seems incredible.
Gonna change fluids much more regularly from now on that's for sure.

Not a Zed issue but thought you may want to see this. Had a leaking brake caliper seal on my 350LC recently so drained system to replace seal (and as it happens new piston required hence leak), the fluid looked rather cloudy so left it to settle, what resulted is unbelievable (see pic). Refurbed brake caliper for Kawasaki S3/KH 400, may fit others not sure so please check pics before buying. If for mint bike it will need bolts rezincing but other than that can be bolted on. inc decent pads installed.
