Exhaust hedders

Hi all

I have a KZ1000 with standard exhausts. the inner pipes are numbered 2 & 3, am i correct in assuming that when sat facing forward on the bike the correct cylinder number sequence of 1-4 is from left to right and that pipes 2 & 3 fit the corresponding exhaust ports?

many thanks
