Does anyone have a centre stand for a st or 1000a1 for sale ? Thanks .i have konis on there which look very similar I was trying to keep it original as it’s only done 20000 miles with every thing else including paint work and pipes still in a really good condition I have only changed the handle bars to higher ones for personal preference

Sorted my shaft drive out and it turned out to be something so simple I had only gone and put the air filter in the wrong way round and don’t I feel stupid but glad it was an easy fix .thanks to all who said about air flow . Took the bike out and she is super smooth and quick , with out this club he...

Thanks I will try these suggestions over the next few days . One other thing that happened and this was in 2000 on a z rally that the wires from the electric ignition side (points side if it had points ) melted on the exhaust and kept miss firing / shutting down higher speeds which I fixed with tape...

I had this problem years ago the alloy wheels which I thought was from a z1000 were actually from a z650 the front was no problem but the rear had to have the inner spindle made and a washer between the disc calliper and the spacer fitted in order to get it right , yours could poss be from a 650 as ...

Sorry about the poor wording oh the question .the answer you gave makes sense that the two ports between carbs 1+2and3+4 are air vents .you could easily think that was where a petrol pipe could go !

Hi , I was swapping my carbs over from a pair of Rx 1000 and noticed that there was 1 petrol pipe feed down to the back of the carbs and this pipe fed all 4 carbs via a t piece between 2 and 3 and feeding the 1 + 4 carb along the same route the 2 nd petrol pipe went to the 2 nd carb where the rubber...
