Re: E10 fuel, and other aberrations

I have used star brite star tron additive for a good few years and seems to work fine - in USA the marine industry seem to use it and petrol lawn mowers over the winter season
I started bike no problem after 8 months - worth reading about
You can get it from several suppliers in Amazon

Hi Mark, On a single pingel it is not very much at all and I am not sure how consistent they are - I have seen one person say like under 10 miles - I have done 20 careful miles on reserve and when filled up I calculated that there was very very little left to go - always meant to run it dry to reall...

Hi Steve, I have 17 inch Kawasaki ZX9RC wheels fitted and Originally with Dunlop sports mart - I did not realise that the rear at 180/55 was actually wider than 180 until the shop àdvised me that in adjusting the chain they found on laser aligning, the wheel was slightly off set to clear the chain(...

I guess it depends on specifically what your cold starting issue is when cold compared to warm? does it still turn over well when cold but just not firing straight away ? I have z900 bored to 1015 with high compression - CR31 carbs and never any issues starting - it has standard starter but battery ...

Very nicely coming along Steve, my outrigger is much more exposed from the side and I find that the lube does not tend to fling up towards starter as S13 advises however it does fling downwards but not that you really noticed as it seems to nicely clump up and with all parts in the area being black ...

Alternatively you may wish to consider billet adjustable side stand that the likes of Japan weblike do and Saisei in UK may be able to get for you - more expensive for sure, however you can adjust to suit your exact lean requirements if that is a deciding factor
