Ok’ thanks that’s what I wanted to know, I’ve 4 red coils tha were on a 8 plug head just wonders if they’d be ok’ thanks for the info lads...

Dyna coils

Hi’ all, need a bit of info on coils, I’ve got some Dyna coils the red one’s, can they be used on a gpz1100 engine, or do l need the green coils, not sure what the difference is, I know it’s 3’ohm and 2.8’ohm will it matter on the bike, or have I got to buy some green coils.. ?

The Bimota forks are 745mm, 29''1/4'' a tad longer than zx9's, so if I get a 30'mm stepped yoke, it'll not be far off, i've got the Bimota yokes aswell, so i'm gunna do a mock up this weekend to see how it'll look with a lower top yoke, I'll keep ya'posted... :happy

Kin'el" slow down I can't read that fast, I'll measure the length of the bimota fork's, the bike has got astralights in, so wheel spindle I'm not worried about, I've got a myford lath, so can make any size spindle spacers I need, thanks for all the info lads, great site... :D

Hi' thank's for reply, yes I could but I want a more beefy looking fork, I'm putting a bigger swing arm in as well, I just want it to look right, longer fork tube's would be great, but not sure how you'd alter the damper gubbins in side for the extra length, just putting feeler's out at the min, to ...

Hi' all new here, I've got a Z1100r that l want to put later forks in, still RWU forks but 70'mm to short what's the best solution, stepped yokes, or screw in extensions, or is there another way, just want it to look neat,cheers all... :smile

Head Bolts

Hi' All Got a problem with my Head Bolts, Bought some ape studs and they don't seem long enough, Only 3 to 4 thread's showing on inner studs, It's a Z1000j Bottom end and a GPZ1100 uni head, not sure what year, it was on when I bought it, any body had this problem, I tried to order some longer studs...

Yes mate got the same spring seat's as your showing, the washer's go underneath, very thin they are, sound's like the smaller engine's got them, Bman is that the part No'' I'm after.... not sure why I need them if there not in the manual, if nobody else got them in their bigger motor's... :?? :)

I think it's GPZ A1 Head, the bottom end is 1000'J, It was all built when I got it, I'm just putting new cam's in when I noticed the washer's, It went for a new valve guid, I'm sure all the washer's were the same when it went, and it came back with two washer's that i've never seen and two valve sea...
