Re: Z1300 parts wanted

Thanks for the reply David, much appreciated. Is there a pattern available or even one that’s very similar? Basically he has those mini indicators and if unable to get OEM then anything similar is better!

Further to the above…. Does anyone know if the 1300 shared indicators with any other Kwacker?
Thanks

Is that any clearer? I believe it’s a standard wheel but someone has widened it by adding an aluminium section each side of the spokes. Very neat job, very well executed and a low profile tyre added but it’s not what the owner wants!

Many thanks, will have a look. He’s on a budget so I was thinking secondhand, is there much of a market?

Z1300 parts wanted

Hi Folks I have a friend in South Africa with a Z1300 from 1981. It’s been modified a little and he’d like to OEM it a bit more. Would anyone have indicators, mirrors, silencers, a rear wheel and a rear mudguard available? If not, are there pattern items or other options available? Many thanks Jonat...

Re: Maggot...

No apologies needed, I fully expect to have the piss taken with a CX. It’s the old thing; I had one when I was at university and loved it, they really are a great bike :happy I got done for speeding on the M4, the policeman said they had chased me for 5 miles and he was going to put it down as 98mph...

Re: Maggot...

It may be crazy,(and I don’t necessarily disagree)but...... it has cost me about 12 grand thus far. Yes, things got out of hand and I did plan to keep it for ever but times change and things have to move on. If you want the best CX out there then it’s cheap at half what it cost! Bet you never expect...
