Mine looks like this spring actor is welded to frame. It’s an R2 as well so there must be two types as Will says

Yeah panic over just recognised it also...from Z1000A1 - my A1 doesn't have a kickstart any more I found this in a box along with a few remaining 1000R parts I thought it was a 1000R internal engine bit I'd missed... must have strayed in there from being stored elsewhere
