Re: Z1000 front and disc brakes

Z1R wheels might be different to cast Z1000 ones my A1 used to have aftermarket Kawasaki wheels (A2 option) which took the discs straight off the wires. Think about it why would you even have considered changing to cast wheels if it was going to be the price of the wheels plus three new discs at 197...

Re: Is this cool or naff ??

On the standard R the hoses exit the bottom of the cooler and then curls back up over the engine and down between the carbs. They don't go through where the wiring goes. These pics shows (just about) one doing the same route with steel hose and after market cooler. Hope this helps... z1pb113.jpg z1PB...

Re: Mystery object

My guess is that silver bit isn't supposed to be there, and it is, as Mark said, a fairing fastener. My old ZX10 (89) used something very like that for fairing panels part no. 92015-1710 or 1751? I think it’s meant to be like that - it’s a new part in a bag, i...

looks like the part used in the olden days to fasten car speakers into the door cards

The door card things were generally just clips for self tappers they didn’t normally use a captive nut.

Two stroke action in Derby

I seem to have agreed to go to some sort of RD/LC Rally in Derby this weekend 6/7/8 July, it’s at Derby Rugby Club is about all I know about it - anyone going by any chance? Either way if you’re into that kind of thing and near there to let you know it’s on. I have no idea what to expect I’m just ta...
