I think it looks good that colour if it’s as good in metal as it looks in the pics I’d leave it like that. Double discs are worth retaining also…

Re: Cam Shims
Hi. Purchased some shims from KHI when rebuilding my engine during an inspection / leak fix. Are the shims available through the swop scheme genuine or mixed with pattern items? Id have thought they started out as genuine but if it's a swap service we have no real control over what people put back ...

1000J/R carb parts
Has anyone a float pin 16032-008 they don’t need, and even better a left hand float bowl for the 1000R CVs one of mine has the drain screw jammed in and i don’t want to smash the bowl trying to remove it, as if I can’t get one it will at least still function. Doesn’t have to be black but even better...

Re: Z900 A4 or Z1 or even Z1000 plastic document tray
The A4/Z1000 tray is about 5mm wider at the back, the original tailpiece is tapered slightly, the later one is more parallel - another reason early looks more elegant.
I'd stick an earlier tailight on there too it's nicer than the square one as well.

Re: Z900 A4 or Z1 or even Z1000 plastic document tray
my guess prev owner put on wrong Tailpiece as per earlier model but cant confirm that as looked at both models on ebay and some have the more flat type whilst others of both models have the more curved type. Theres no continuity. So not sure which type is correct for which model. The Z1 through Z1B...
