Re: STAFFORD 2018

Well done and a big thanks to Ginger Bear , Jerry (and Mrs Jerry), Keith, Rob and all the others who put so much effort in to make sure we had a top class owners club stand again.

Re: STAFFORD 2018

1st time for me on the club stand this year.

What's the arrangements when I arrive at Stafford? I should be there around 4 - 5pm depending on traffic. Will I be able to drive straight in and unload the bike ?

Thanks for for any advice

Steve

Re: Z1000 a2 rear brake piston

I've had pistons and seals from Powerhouse and they seem good quality. I've had no issues and will be rebuilding my Z1R brakes with their kits. They also offer an inhouse refurb service but I haven't used it. https://www.powerhouse.uk/content/motorcycle-brakes/motorcycle-brake-caliper-services.php S...

Re: Z1000-A1 OEM Service manual

Hi Mike, I got one from this guy in New Zealand. They are good quality copies of the original.

Re: Exhausts: Any experiences of OS Pipes or Bazar de la Becane?

I have a set of stainless OS pipes on my Z650. You can see the actual bike on their website. The pipes were made about 10 years ago and the first set they had produced for a Z650. They are very well made and apart from discoloured downpipes, they are still as new....but then again the bike hasn't do...

Think you were right Chris. Will not take a charge at all. Replaced with another Motobatt (38 quid from M&P !!) and all good since.

Re: Motobatt Failure

Must be shorted internally as the charger won't charge it up....just flashes in error mode.
