Z900/1000 etc RH switchgear or just lightswitch & lever

As per heading, I'm after the RH switchgear please for a Z1R.
Failing that just the actual lightswitch & lever and I'll have to run the extra wiring in.
This is for a Californian import that has no switch (lights on constantly) and the customer wants to have the UK spec.
Thanks, Will

Can't believe that. I've had 100s of 2.8mm terminals from them.

Also, have you not actually tried ebay

It's an option I will look into if I can't get hold of a head.
Thanks

Re: Wish I Still Had It

I have lost count of the amount of people that have sold their Rex and don't know why or regretted it. We all know how good they are so why even think about it. Sure I know it'll mostly be down to money at the end of the day, but like all classics these are only going one way. I've had mine for 9 ye...

Z1000 Z1R cylinder head complete

Due to the valve seats being heavily corroded on this TC thanks to shit water injection, the seats are beyond saving. They would require so much recutting that the amount that would have to be removed from the top of the valves is not possible. Therefore I think it might be a better idea to replace ...

Re: Standard valve sizes for Z1R D1

Thought as much Rob, just testing my aging sanity.
Just sorting through my old valve train parts, found a set of 38mm inlet and 32mm exhaust Manley valves out of my old Manzano head when I used to drag race in the 80s.

Standard valve sizes for Z1R D1

As the genuine shop manual makes no reference to the head sizes, can anyone please confirm what the standard size valves should be in a 78 Z1R ? I have 30mm for exhaust and 36mm for inlet  They are all of the round collet type. Additionally, the valve sets offered by Z-Power also have no head ...

Rivington Barn

Nice day out at Rivington Barn with Garry Leonard, Dave Marlow and the rest of our VJMC section.
Bumped into Chris Kitchen (who's TC I'd recently finished).
Awesome weather and great ride home.
