I have 2 1000a1's one is standard apart from a set of Z1 4 pipes and the paint job and the other one I started with a frame and the engine cases left in a garden for 12 years, this one I moved the rear shock mounts and customised it a bit with a bandit swing arm and wider spoked wheels with the orig...

hi Andy, done the same thing but just changed the forks to Zephyr 1100 forks from the Bandit as they suit the bigger wheel better with the mudguard,mine are 18" front and rear, 110 x 80 on the front and 160 x 60 on the rear I used the same sizes as a Hodna cb1100 retro thingie

There is a bike custom business which built the blue z1000 with the nickel plated frame which is on ebay for 15.5k item number 123848223131 they built a tool for removing the chrome spoke disc.

welcome in John, I had my z1000a1 running rich found the choke springs were a bit weak and not returning correctly, good luck with the carbs and +2 for the Denso plugs they are a lot better than the NGK's

spun my a1 bolts out with a windy gun and used the broom handle wedge to torque back up

Hi Gonzo it was the rear carrier I was looking at, I have the cast all in one piece one on my A1 and was thinking of using the LTD rear carrier and a Pretech calliper on this build. cheers Eddie
