Re: Starter Motor
Its actually for a GPZ11 based race bike. My Z1000 starter works very well on it, but will consider any Z based starter motor.

Re: Later Z1000/GPZ1100 starter gears etc.
I have the starter clutch
What i do need most is the 2 x gears and the hub/rotor. Yes of course i could go out and buy new gears for £200 but that's a lot more than i could buy them for if someones has got them unwanted........

Re: Mikuni RS36 fuel overflow issue
Thanks guys, I will definitely make up a new float bowl screw with a clear tube fitting for setting up the actual fuel level, but for now i think i will lower the fuel level on no.1 first to try and eliminate the problem, then set all the others to match. Was bloody embarrassing yesterday filling wi...

Mikuni RS36 fuel overflow issue
I am guessing that this is a known issue as there is a bit of chatter about it on various forums. When the bike is on the side stand, fuel pisses out of one of the overflows, i'm guessing no.1 but i will investigate further tomorrow and no matter what i do (banging carb float bowl side) the only rem...

Re: Project Racer
So here is the finished bike. I completely ran out of time to do any more on the project report as things got very frantic trying to prepare 2 x classics for Spa and Chimay races last July and continue doing a 50 hour working week and moving house and business in the mix too! Having discovered i am ...
