650's have a smaller spindle dia than the 1000's.
Should narrow it down a bit further.

Do the gaps disappear if you apply pressure on the chain between the sprockets like the slipper plate does?

Looking good. If you decide to go stock exhausts steer clear busso reproductions. Dunstal do a pretty good looking aftermarket tail pipes. Not exact copies but close enough to fool most. What's the part number on the advancer? 21148-011 is the 650 b1 - b3 one. It looks like 650 / 750 advancer are different. I don't have a parts list for a 750 to cross reference. Just looked it up on cmsnl 21148-1013 is the number for the 750 E. Either way, where there's a will there's a way. Just go...

Twin 38's will give you 42% increase in piston surface area over single 43.
650/750 and smaller would be 38's
