Re: Z900 A4 fuel leak any ideas please?

I wrote this article based on my experiences of fettling Zeds and their carbs.
Most badly running Zeds are an accumulation of issues and rarely down to one thing.

Hope this helps to resolve your issues.

The bike was a bit bodged in places if I'm honest, but I've certainly seen far worse. But all sorted now.

Re: Z1A ready for the road

Oh and for better or worse, turns out my Z1A was owned by Henry Cole and featured his show. Him and Millyard 'did it up' and then posed about a bit for the cameras.

Re: Z900 A4 fuel leak any ideas please?

Fuel taps passing fuel when off is common. OEM taps degrade and even the new repro ones are junk and pass.

Re: Z1A ready for the road

BTW. The bike didn't come with a toolkit or owners manual.
I've managed to make up a toolkit.
Does anyone have an owners manual they'd sell? Not looking for anything mint, tatty will suit the patina of the bike.

Cheers
