Been pretty busy riding bikes instead of fettling them, so not much progress. However, I did remove the cam cover and measure the valve clearances. 5 are spot on middle of range at .06 to .07mm and I have 3 that are .1 to .11mm. So I'll need to swap out the shims on those ones. As expected the top e...

Looks like I might not be able to make it on the z900 as I haven't received my NOVA confirmation that I need to get it registered....

Needed to clean up and check the rear drive hub, took a bit of effort with the sprocket fitted. Hmmm, I must be missing something. I have the hinges with those little tangs on them, but I dont see what they do. I don't understand why you're dicking about. I'd expect Mr.Smethhurst to sort this out, unless of course he told you the engine would be full of blast media and slithers of metal after blasting and how it should be dealt with...
