Nick z900 airboxes are like rocking horse poo and when they do come up they sell for silly money. Last one sold on EBay for £500. There are no reproduction ones made... The z1000 airbox body is very similar, but the snorkel bit is completely different. Some folks have fitted the cheaper 1000 airbox ...

A few months shouldn't be an issue. For longer periods I would drain the carbs and put some fuel additive in the tank. I use Seafoam.

I use Keyster rebuild kits and would recommend them. However, note that their bowl gaskets do seem to be a tad wider than standard and can occasionally catch on the floats, causing them to flood. When taking carbs out of the Ultrasonic cleaner, I rinse them in cold water and blow them dry with compressed air. I then give the bodies a quick spray with WD40 which stops them from getting the slight white furring which can sometime occur on the zinc based bodies. I've had a few cleaners over the...
