Re: Stalling and stuttering at motorway speeds.
Have you cleaned out the tank? has it been lined? if any of that comes adrift it can restrict fuel to the tap when running steady but not necessarily when moving around town as it can get moved around with the bike, same if something has sucked into the air filter, a bit obvious I know but a possibi...

Re: Seized sump drain plug!
That was my thoughts, a good quality six point socket is far superior to a twelve point, it did the job though so that's the main thing.

Re: camchain replacement - What's the word?
The cam chain wear limit is to measure the stretch in the chain only (and they do stretch), you can't really do this with the chain in situ as it is around the crank sprocket unless you have a spare crank somewhere that you can put a new chain around to compare, I used a soft link chain on my old 90...

Re: Kz900 seat stand
One of seat hinges has about 3mm of metal protruding from it which hits the underside of the bracket on the frame stopping it from opening too far, you can just about see it on the rear hinge of the Brown (great colour) bike picture and on the front hinge on Taffus's pictures, not the best set up wh...
