ANZAC
It was a weird kind of day today. Normally a huge day down under was left reeling because of the 'Virus'. I used Wurths Satin Black on both my MkII and A1. MkII has done 25000km and paint has performed excellently.

Speedo Drives
Two questions on the speedo drives for the Zeds. Firstly are there different sizes between spoked and mag wheels ? I have two and there seems to be avery slight size difference and one of the drive tabs will engage whereas the other one won't. I thought they would be universal. The one that was work...

Re: Back in Black
Hi nicomkii nice bike! She looks very fast with those carbs! GrtZ Philippe Now that she is starting to loosen up i have been pushing a little harder and yes you are right, she goes very well with those carbs. Makes you wonder why so few were sold back then?.
Completely outdated back then compared to other jap. bikes such as GSX1100.
True, they were out dated from the start.
Kawasaki knew this too, hence the low production numbers.

Refurbing Badges
Has anyone here repainted their badges ? The tank badges on my A1 are ordinary to say the least and I have some other badges I'd like to refurb. There is black, white and silver. Obviously the silver is the badge draw material, so do you mask it or just wipe off the wet paint ? Is it best to do blac...

Re: Z1000 MK2 replica paint sets
I bought a set way back when the Aus $ was in parity to the US. The paint itself was great, I got the Luminous Blue and it was as I recalled it near on 40 years ago. The shape of all the parts was good and they fitted as expected. Thats where my satisfaction ended. The sticker joins on the pin strip...

Well doesn't time fly when you're busy !!! I didn't realise my last past was so long ago. I have been plodding along with the A1 and can finally say it is on the road. I took it over for inspection yesterday, a pass with no issues. As always I had a Factory trained Z mechanic from back in the day go...

Journey complete. 10,599km of hassle free riding across our beautiful country. About 60% on tar and 40% dirt, wore out one front tyre and not much life left in the rear. A few random pics from the journey. 0 - 1 (110).jpg 20190810_090433.jpg 20190808_114533.jpg 20190805_131209.jpg 0 - 1 (104).jpg 0 ...
