Looking for a centre stand. i have a Z1R type one in excellent condition but since I replaced my 4 into 1 for 4 into 4 pipes it is not ideal if anyone is interested in it.

Thanks Nigel. I have tried a 6v Yuasa lead acid battery on one of my bikes but it did not last either but I suspect it was a fake. Maybe best to stick to Motobatt.

I meant to do an update on this issue. I spoke to Dave at Cybike who suggested that it might just be the battery. So I connected a car battery with jump leads and it started. So bought a motobatt locally and it starts. So many thanks Dave for your help. Even though the old battery was showing 12.7 v...

Sorry for delay in replying have been away. Ok thanks will speak to Dave at Cybike and check voltage drop at battery when using starter. I will let you know what happens.

It has a newish gel type battery which when charged indicates 12.8v on a meter. I won't buy the traditional lead/acid anymore as non of them last. The Clymer does not give any info on testing the starter eg what current it should be drawing. Perhaps I could try a car battery with jump leads. Thanks ...
