just changed a motobatt battery for a yuasa yumicrom.
the motobatt won't hold a charge. not that old either.

arent motobatt chinese ? yuasa every time for me.

should say gpz1100b1 engine not 100 thats too puny lol !!!

whats the correct part number for stator/generator from electrexworld ?
confused not much detail on site.
got a reg/rec from them on back order.
bikes a z1000j2 1983 with gpz100b1 engine ?

went and bought a rec/regular already for £59 off ebay
bugger. no worries.
lights and horn etc all work so hope no alt/stator good

went out to shed and checked new battery now at 12.5 was 13.3/13.4 when fully charged yesterday. Bike managed to start but when meter attached to both pos and neg terminals and revving bike to 3 k its going up very slightly (12.8) but not above 13 Does this mean the rec/regulator is fooked ? thought...

Guys Drove the elr to mot last week started no bother and ran there no issues 15 miles. Problem was when i left mot test centre, bike struggled to start and tick over without conking out.
