Re: New Z1100R Owner

Welcome! :) That really is a lovely thing, and the second rarest of all of the Zeds. If I have one tip for you it would be to leave the aftermarket swinging arm right where it is. My Davida was the most-noticeable change I made to my J, which was a revelation compared to the stock one. It's a bolt-o...

Re: Z1100R For Sale - Genuine Eddie Lawson

Good call that, Martin. I have a couple of bikes up for sale on eSkip and have had some ridiculous offers. I'll try Car and Classic.

Re: loose cylinder liner.

Only if the top flange has fractured and becone detached from the liner could the liner move or drop in the barrel. A friend once had this on a Ducati 860GTS. Re: ex-IoM proddie race GPz550 and Yamaha RD350 YPVS F2 for sale

Price drop on the YPVS: - I have now fitted the standard clip-ons, so including the fairing lowers, radiator grille and a pair of standard front footpegs that need a refurb, with the brand new standard shock I'd like £4100, with the Nitron shock (which is presently fitted) I'd like £4300. Any other ...

Re: APE Cam Chain Adjuster

I set mine on my J whilst the engine is warm as the stock tensioner will extend to the slackest point anyway. From my original post: - "Anyway, so that I don’t become obsessed with camchain tension I spent a bit of time tonight checking it when cold having set it when hot last night. Resetting ...

79/80 UK Cam Cover wanted

Evening all,

One of our US counterparts on the KZ1000J page on Facemuck is looking for the above. Would anyone have such a thing and be willing to ship it to the US?

Cheers,
Coose

Z1000J/R or GPz1100 sprocket carrier inner spacer

Afternoon all, Does anyone have one of the above kicking about? I've just sold a GPz1100B back wheel to a potential new member and it's the one part that I don't seem to have spare. The spacer out of his standard Z1000G wheel may fit but I said I'd ask on here just in case it doesn't. Thanks in adva...
