Re: Mikuni VM22/210 pilot jets X4, around size 25

VM22/210 is the type of jet - they're to go in my VM29 Smoothbores on my Z1000J. 25 is the size Mikuni recommend for a thou and a good starting point, where my current 15s are definitely too small as I have to wind the air screws right in.

Thank you both for your replies. As they tend to be something that doesn't really wear out I was wondering if anyone had a set kicking about before I buy new ones. :)

Re: Wanted upgraded brakes for z1000

New Grimeca Lockheed copies are about £120 each with average pads included, but a lot of caliper for the money. You'll need to make your own brackets.

Cheers chaps, that'll do for me! I can't imagine many companies making them unless they're a standard size of other applications.

Re: Camshaft bearing shells - part no. 13034-030

As there's no point starting a new thread, has anyone found a supplier of these that isn't going to break the bank (i.e. over a tenner per shell, even £6.57 from Z1E, plus postage + duty times 16)? Any suggestions?

Re: Best tyres for Z1100R.

I have a Classic Attack on the back of my YPVS and it seems to be very good, though unfortunately they don't make them in Z1100R sizes. I've been using Avon Roadriders (110-18 front and a 130-18 rear) on my J and they've been fine in all weathers, including torrential rain in Belgium. Saying that, I...

Kawasaki Fieldsheer one-piece leathers

These are labelled as being 46/56 but they are more like a 42/52 so there's not a chance of me getting into them. They're in very good but used condition, where although they look to be black and pink in the photos it's definitely red. All zips work well and they don't look to have ever touched down...
