Fork stanchions have arrived at last so stripped the forks then blasted the bottoms before a coat of silver
did a couple of engine bits at same time , currently hanging nr shed stove ready for assembly tomoz if i'm
not distracted by the new arrival in the garage

Ive gone and done it again and bought another project so obviously my Professional counciling failed again :lol:
should be a couple of pictures for anybody interested , maybe just get it running and registered for moment as
i'm in the middle go gs1000 and z650 rebuilds at moment but we'll see

Had a bit of a fiddle with the Z650 carbs ,got them back on the mounting plate then spent a while sorting through the new stuff id got for them ,then as usual my attention span failed and i started messing with the Ribless carbs then moved onto cleaning GS1000s parts and chuckin them in the parts wa...

Got the wheels tidied up and tyres on :) valves are out of head now and its languishing in the
parts washer before it goes of to be skimmed

Did a bit of carb cleaning yesterday for the 650 all ready for assembly now, not a job i enjoy but two more sets
in the queue GS1000s and a set of 72 Z1 Ribless i bought for a project bike i was getting but fell through

I bought a 400c Italian Import 3 yr ago with 900kmh on clock Satin Black , we never bonded so flogged it
to a RD nut and bought a Z900 with proceeds that said i love the Red & White :)

Ive done both in the past ,i presume you mean reservoir is losing its paint colour through fading and casting is showing
through ? if you ask Powerhouse nicely they might have a look at refurbing it for you but i guess its whether you want
to keep original or not , repo ones are cheap enough
