Just done the same with jerry myself:-
Look in the year book, find which you want and price.
Message jerry with said order.
pay z1oc merchandise via PayPal (also in yearbook).
message jerry to tell him you've paid.

Re: Zrx wanted
Taffus, did you decide on a model? When I was looking for 1 last year, it seamed a minefield. I went on the zrx forums to see/glean some information. I personally don't like the look of the 1200s (big fairing), so I narrowed it down to the 1200r or the 1100, which I think as the better looking engin...

Don't know if they are the same, but they look the same as on the z1r. i. e. The spacer, triangular engine mount and elliptical nuts from the bottom of the engine.

starter motor
Hi all, just found a snapped bolt that fastens the starter motor cover down. As it is on the brushes end, is there any reason why I can't just change the end of the motor and deal with the snapped bolt another day. Hopefully pics below to explain what I mean. ... 20170505_190214.jpg 20170505_190505....

Unless I'm in the minority, I think you're wrong. All my powder coated frames have legible numbers. You just inform the powder coater you want to be able read them after he's done.

Re: What's it worth?
Purely out of curiosity what is the procedure if say, its had a new pair of cases fitted at some point, and by new I mean brand new. Did bare cases supplied by dealers from the factory come complete with new numbers or was it the responsibility of the dealer to transfer numbers, what happened if th...

Re: What's it worth?
Re:- engine number.... as previously stated, it looks like the original number as been 'drilled' out and re-filled. I have one the same  , mine came on a Q plate z1b (not import/usa). The log book also states (as on imports), ((paraphrasing)) registered 1990, previously registered before that...

Re: Wanted Z1000a2 Fork Tops
Has anyone got a spare lurking in a box he could borrow to try? If its the 1 in the picture (z1bman put a link to) then I've got a spare set of legs (z1r), I can whip one out and LOAN it for testing. if memory serves it has an 1/2inch square drive fitment in the top. message me if required. cheers ...
