Rick, I want to try and put the bike back to a more standard / original look, so really wanted a set of standard calipers; so would not need them, but thanks anyway. Looks like you've found a buyer though :-) Steve: bit of a bugger really: they are good powerful brakes with no fade, but since fittin...

Brake Calipers - Z1000 A2 needed

Guys - I have a modded A4 fitted with Z1000 A2 forks (and AP Racing calipers) - I need a set of original A2 brake calipers as I'm ditching the AP's: its a long and painful story (they warped a good set of disks in 2000 miles)   http://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/aa340/tonto100/P1...

Disk Skimming - A4 - how can it be soooo difficult ??

Guys: really struggling to get a pair of A4 brake disks skimmed;  I've tried some local (Lincolnshire) engineering companies and no one will touch them with a barge pole ! I seem to be going around in circles (unlike my wheels  ) Has anyone been through this loop before, and could ...

Anyone know a good "Stripper" ????

Trying to clean up some disc carriers and failing miserably (as usual) - appears my trusty AP Racing calipers have warped my discs - bugger ! I have a spare set of rotors and need to clean and refurb them - I tried Nitromors - absolute cr4p ! I reckon if I had spilt my cuppa tea on the disc carrier ...

Brake Calipers - A4 onwards - query

Folks, thinking of putting the brakes on my modded A4 back to standard - can anyone confirm when Kawasaki changed the front brake caliper design from that fitted to the Z900 A4. I believe it was the same unit on the Z1000 A1 & A2, but not sure if it was changed when the Z1R or MK II came in ?? :...
