I could only get one speaker to work on the old factory fitted AM radio. So I went looking for the fault and had a look at the Haynes manual.

Datsun 240Z Downunder

I found this car about three years ago. It was pretty neglected so everything from the fly-wheel back, clutch, gearbox, springs and shock absorbers and mounts, suspension bushes, universals, brakes and tyres etc have been replaced or overhauled. It drives like a new car now. The engine is fine. I lo...

I didn't mean to disrespect Garn but there will probably be lots of platers in his area who can do black anodising. I live in a city of 385,000 and had no problems. Australia has about 12 million people or so living there. As regards the "expert" telling you that as it's been exposed to br...

A WOF is a Warrant of Fitness. The car or bike is inspected every 6 months for safety. For a new car I think it's every year for the first 5 years.

And here's a donor vehicle for your trike parts.

It's got trippy horns as well.

Hung rev counter

Hi, my tacho is sitting at 2000 RPM when the engine is off. When I am riding the bike the revs fluctuate between 2000 and 5000 RPM. No higher. If I tap the face of the tacho the needle slowly jerks down to the zero stop. I'm reluctant to cut into the chrome band to have a look inside and I'm also no...

Trike a '73 Z1?

This must be a wind up.

If it isn't, step away from the bike and go and find something else to mangle.

Cheers....

I see that in the image he is holding a gasper. I wonder if he ever quit and if not maybe that influenced his health? I'm not judging, I smoked for over 40 years myself.

Your bike looks absolutely bloody sweet. Well done!

I wouldn't worry about using a non-standard fuel tap. A Pingel is all that I could get to work so that's what I'm using.
