Don't look too shabby, get shot of the risers, bars and fairing, some 4" rise bars will finish it off and of course at a later date get rid of the ripple paint.

Sounds like the slides are too high to me and not allowing for adjustment in the right direction, may i suggest carb removal and setting the slides up on the bench, but make sure when you do that the adjuster screws are halfway through their travel parameters, had this myself once and it took ages t...

I am leaning towards blue, maybe Citroen Poseidon blue which is metallic, but then possibly more towards the blues Yamaha used in the seventies.
