I see that Z Power advertise the originally specified tyres. I had Continental (for BMW) tyres on my old Kettle. I figured they suited the weight of the bike and the type of riding we subject our old nails to. I could certainly hustle that fat old bitch when I felt like it! Comin` down your way in a...

SW Rally (Ride from Beds, Bucks, Herts)

Originally I had intended to ride down early on the Sunday morning but I don`t want to miss the fun. I have to work Saturday but could manage to leave early and be ready to go lunchtime-ish.
Is there anyone from this area going down that would care to join me?

Club, Rally and Tits.

I`ve owned a bike since I was sixteen with only a small gap of a couple of years when I needed to liquidate as many assets as possible in order to purchase my house. In that time I have belonged to many clubs or groups and found bikers to be the most welcoming, warm and friendly people of any that m...

Z1000 A1 Airbox

After such great help on a previous query I would like to turn to you guys out there for help with my airbox. After installing a new filter I found the little plastic lid would not seat properly. Taking the filter out allowed the lid to snap shut securely. It would seem that the filter is slightly t...

Rear light bracket

Thanks so much all you guys out there in ZED world. A special mention to GARN that supplied pictures of the two types of bracket on his mantlepice. If ever there was a guy more devoted to everything ZED then it is surely the man that has bike bits on display around the house. Unfortunately I only ha...

Brake calipers

I used a sandblaster to clean the paint on my calipers after first fitting a knackered piston and seals whilst also masking the piston. I used an old brake pipe and bleed nipple to cover the vital orifices. Sandblasting is fast and thorough, but you must ensure they are ultra clean afterwards. For t...

Rear light bracket

Can anyone tell me the difference between a US and EURO rear lamp bracket. I bought a KZ1000 and have fitted a EURO rear guard. I would assume the EURO bracket lowers the lamp slightly as now my lamp fouls the ducktail.
