I've been lucky enough to find an identical NOS piston this morning at very reasonable cost so all sorted now cheers.

Hi thanks for your reply. I've just checked them carefully and the only markings are the letters "ART" and the arrow on the crown, there's no other lettering.
Is there any chance you could measure them up; do they have the ART mark on them?

I think I’ve got a spare bolt and washer from a scrap rear master cylinder if you want it. Can’t post until next Tuesday morning though as out of the country. Rob
