Black and black would be too much. Red and black will make a good contrast.

Do you not want to try it your self?
Carbs are quite easy and you can get away without any special tools. Jets and repair kits are readily available.

Those 900 carbs will work fine with K&Ns providing they’re jetted right. But first, get yourself a Gunson Colourtune ( http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/SearchCmd?srch=colourtune&action=search&storeId=10001&catalogId=10151&langId=-1 ) and get the mixture right a...

There’s loads of stuff on the internet about this. These two links give the testicul stuff - http://corrosion-doctors.org/Definitions/galvanic-series.htm http://www.mcnallyinstitute.com/Charts/galvanic-series.html Basically, the higher in the list the more likely it will corrode. Two metals joined...

Are you any good at sheet metal development? You could try rolling a cone out of sheet. http://i792.photobucket.com/albums/yy204/popsa1/cone.jpg Your flat blank will look like this http://i792.photobucket.com/albums/yy204/popsa1/conedev.jpg A rough way to calculate the rads and angle is to us the fo...

My z1000 has had many different carbs over the years. Currently I’m running a set off a Suzuki. If yours have twin fuel pipes its safe to say they’re from a Kawa. Next, does yours have the traditional pilot airscrew on the side of the carb? A1’s and A2’s didn’t have this screw but they do ...

So that’s what I missed. I did turn up. Just to late. :rake Didn’t even get a drink. That will teach me to take a different route and get lost. I’ll know next time. Never mind the ride was good. :ed

I’ve often thought of fitting multi pot callipers to my A1, but nearly all fixed callipers are just too wide for spoked wheels.
Has anyone done this mod :?:

Any carbs

Carbs might be popular tonight.
I need a set to run with bell mouths for the A1. Any size would do.
I’ve made corrector jets and bored 26’s out to 28 in the past if anyone is interested in ‘how to’.
Would even consider a set of smooth bores at the right price.
