Z1000 club purchase exhaust

Anyone looking for a Z1000 exhaust (club purchase)? I have now had the original exhaust re-chromed so the 'club' exhaust is surplus to requirements. It's still boxed but I have had it out to check it over and make sure it was dried out properly. For sale to club members for what I paid (around £650 ...

Re: Original Z1b exhaust repairs/rechrome

Depends on how bad they are, I sent 2 systems to Marque Restore in Coventry before Xmas, one came back like new but the other was beyond repair. The thing you need to remember is they have to do a lot of work (stripping chrome etc) before sending it to their repair guy so you will still get a hefty ...

Re: Next!

Had a F4, most uncomfortable bike i've ever ridden, it used to cut the blood supply to my legs after half an hour but it was georgeous to look at.
The 916 is just fantastic and will be with me until they carry me out feet first!

Nearly finished my latest little project, built from a lot of boxes of bits IMG_20200416_135710_resized_20200419_053752476.jpg So I though I'd have a look at the next in line. Re: RHS UPPER AND LOWER EXHAUSTS - 1976 Z900

A word of warning concerning re-chroming, you can get them done at 'Marque Restore' in Coventry but, and it's a big but, you may end up with a large bill and some scrap exhausts! I sent two systems to them in October, a really solid Z1000a1 set and a set from a CBX1000 that looked repairable (a bit ...

Early 400 in blue (not sure of the model but it's the on with no tailpiece), 76 vintage, but white and red comes a close second and that bike looks very very nice!

Re: 1976 Z900 - Various Parts

I did the twin disc upgrade on the last z900 I rebuilt, cost about £600 if I remember correctly (that was with buying a used set of the correct discs), I currently have a set of exhausts with a chromer in coventry for re-chromeing but can't say what sort of job they do until I get them back (about ...
