Re: Z1 sump plate

Chris - I think what Steve is saying is that the early Z1 sumps had no 'fixed' baffles castings as standard (red arrows).
All you need to do is the swinging baffle gate mod (blue arrow).

Great job!

Do you have the frame numbers of all the S&S turbo Rickmans?

Foz

I have the frame numbers of all the frames sold to S+S Performance.
10 which were used for Silver Saxons (2 for the prototype and 8 for the production models), the other 5 were nat asp bikes.

73mm bores on standard block is max and are prone to excessive oil consumption.
Nice project for sure. :D

It's not listed as it's not actually for sale, however if you call them to discuss then it will be available, at a price of course.

Re: At last, VJMC South Cheshire show back on!

Thought I'd get this back to the top as it's this Sunday.

This show is set to be our biggest yet and it'd be awesome if we could get a load of Zeds there like many years ago in 2011.

Re: float settings. Do not set float heights, always set by fuel level as floats get heavier with todays utterly shit fuels and also age.
