I've got about 40 metres of 22mm o/d x 2mm gauge stainless tube from a microlight project.im sure i could cut,pack and post to members for £15-£20 ish.depending on whether there is much demand..any enquiries welcome. cheers mark Presumably, the extra 1mm i/d clearance this would give is not as crit...

Is the Fuel cap included in the kit ? Do you have any pictures of the side panels fitted to the bike. Cap is included The set was sold to a customer who is building a special, however it turned out he had a Z900 which does not have the lower right hand lug. Doremi won't replace so need to recoup so...

This guy has 1 metre lengths of 22 od x 2.5mm wall mild steel tubing, fairly easy to cut to 141.5mm lengths i would of thought?

I am a little confused by talk of voltage drop across the bulb. This is of course correct but it should be the full 12 volt operating voltage, supply to earth, and nothing to do with the 1.8v drop that you are seeing at the connector before the bulb. The bulb is effectively internally wired in series with the central position intended to be earth. If for some reason wires are crossed and the earth moved to an end position then both filaments could be operating in series. You have a high resistance somewhere maybe the ballast resistor or loom around the dim switch.
