Not really , just had the idea of putting a1 needles in , the throttle valves are 2.0 , A1 and maybe A2 are 1.5 , are these carbs power sucking with them needles ? if so , would i be better off buying different carbs

Hi ZEDHEAD , Thanks for answering , Mine is an A2A needle measures 52mm , was the above setup , where the needle goes through a spring in a recessed hole in the throttle valve from the top , better or worse

Ps , if you bought a carb repair kit , they seem to be all the same 77-81 , just worried about the throttle valve and the difference with spring in etc , alternately , ive jetted up main and pilot jet , shall i just leave be the stock a2a needles and valves ? my reason for changing , was the a1 need...
