Obviously get the rocker cover off to see if there's any corrosion. Then see if it will turn over using the kick start. I used to be able to start my Z900 by hand when the bike was warm...so there should be little resistance. Clearly if it doesn't want to move then it'll need a rebore and pistons. U...

Ask a merc owner how reliabl;e their cars are.

They'll tell you nothing has gone wrong....execpt the boot wouldn't open...and the water pump went....and there'sthose recalls.

Oh and the dodgy electrics...
