Found the numbers, had to give the switch a good clean, the number is z 5@@@ does this sound right. There is another set of numbers below the steering lock. Today was such a bore all that time on set with Ellie and my crew. I am expecting the offers to come flooding in. Golden globe next! Many thanks...

I have taken the ignition switch of the bike and have taken the switch out off the ignition housing. Are the numbers on the actual tumbler? The 3 roll pins have been drilled out but it is still reluctant to come out.

Thats really weird, fuel going to carbs and not going to engine. Fuel float level correct in carbs as they have been overhauled.

Just on the off chance, have you checked that fuel flows freely through the tap.

Martin, I got a load from Screwfix, they do a good range of sizes and are quite cheap.

Dymag fitment-fabricator wanted

Hi I am after someone who could fit my dymags and Ape calipers to my bike. So they need to be experienced in machining etc. Anyone got any suggestions?

Have you still got the old cable to refit/ measure against the new one as I would ensure that side of things before delving into the clutch.

I have got a bid on that one, I know the wheels are going for silly money, but this isnt reflected in the price of a complete bike. I just missed out on one that was T and T for £550.

I have a 1200 one in mine with a 1100 to be fitted soon. If you want to use the original Z1000J bolt then you will have to have a sleeve made to go into the inside of the swinging arm pivot. It is quite an easy mod and you don't need to have anything machined off the swinger for it to fit.
