Re: Gpz style twin headlight fairing
Skidmarx used to do them. Bear in mind that the generator may have trouble running with both lights on for extended periods. I uprated the generator with a heavy duty one from electrex world but I don't think they do them anymore. I also use HID's in the double headlamp fairing to lower the amperage...

It could be more embarrassing....
You could be on a ride out with the club and have about 20 bikes waiting for you to lose the diesel you just filled up with and replace it with petrol!
It wasn't me but one of mackems but not big green bus..........

Re: 2018 Mega Famous Skegness Run
What make was the battery Ian? I have been researching these and the battery needs a BMS (battery management system) which should be able to allow for an overcharging scenario, that said there are many Chinese copies that do not have the systems

Re: KZ900A4 Blowing Fuses
Hello Dave, You are correct, I tried the same switch on another bike and the same thing happens, the 20amp fuse popped . And so it is conclusive, the fault is with the kill switch. Thank you all for your help and suggestions. It was the only logical conclusion Steve. To follow up on Taffus post, I ...

Re: KZ900A4 Blowing Fuses
looking at your picture Cas I think you have plugged the pale green connector in the wrong socket. I have an a4 which I convert from separate reg/rect to a combined PMC unit. This came with the same pale green plug. The green socket is for the regulator on the a4, the PMC unit is designed for a z1 (...

Re: Lithium Battery?
The charging system on classic bikes is incompatible with lithium ion batteries. I'd be interested to know more. Is it the charging rate or something about how it's regulated that is a problem? Some folk (Mr Pigford?) seem to get away with it? I think the compatibility statement is a bit broad. The...
