I use Frost restorations- Eastwood Satin Black wheel paint - but paint after new tyres fitted. Mask tyres off with wedges of card all round.

I used Wurths Satin Black on both my MkII and A1. MkII has done 25000km and paint has performed excellently. Only just seen your reply but thanks for the info mate - after a bit of research, I've gone for U-Pol PCEP/AL Powercan Etch Primer and U-Pol Powercan Top Coat Satin Black. Fingers crossed! :D

Wheel Paint - What to Use?
Need to replace my tyres but noticed that a small area of the rear wheel paint has started to scratch off :cry: The front wheel is spot on and so is the rest of the rear - can only assume that that section wasn't cleaned down properly before the top coat went onto the primer. :cry: Needs to be 100% ...
