Front end now fully in, back end next. As stated the block, head and cam cover will be refinished within the next few weeks. I pretty much did all the modifications prior to strip, this includes making a new LH pillion peg mount to clear the big silencer, which Kawasaki USA obviously couldn't be ars...

Bought 18 months ago and imported from the US. Owned from new by the previous owner and is now undergoing a full restoration. One of the last "pre Molly" examples, so these had all the upgrades of the TCII without the black paint job. Obviously it's had many engine rebuilds over the years ...

Z1000A2 onwards bikes will take any GPz caliper which fits straight on without any mods at all.
These will easily give you 30% improved braking efficiency, going by the bikes I've fitted them to previously.
I'm even fitting GPz calipers to my Z1R-TC.

Measure the ID and bearing recess depth of the swing arm and the OD of your spindle.
Any local engineering company should have the bearings available.
