Starter Motor Clutch

Does anyone have a starter motor clutch?
I need everything between the alternator rotor and the starter motor it’s self. The clutch assembly, large clutch gear, idler gear and shaft.

Where in the UK can I get replacement clutch damper springs?

Also, does anyone have a clutch hub removal tool I could borrow?

Back in the 80s I ran Pirelli Phantoms and Metzeler Perfects. They were great to start with but after about 1000 miles they would setup a wobble at 100+ that I didn’t have the balls to ride through. Today I’m on Avon Roadrider’s and the same thing is happening. Some non Z riders have suggested...

Great to see this back Julian. Excellent engineering you’ve done and FI has got to be the way forward.

Thanks lads.
These seem to be popping up on a regular basis just lately on ebay. At the right price, they may well make an interesting project this summer.

Does anyone know if these carbs have the right spacing to fit a Z1?

I have fitted Z1R forks to my A1. There’s no dimensional differences. Later forks have better damping, springing and of cause calliper mounts.

There are 2 pilot holes in the carb bore. 1 either side of the throttle slide. The pilot screw on these is a by-pass screw. It controls the amount of air/fuel that can flow into the port after the throttle slide. The mixture is controlled by fixed jets. There is no pilot air screw on the side of the...

They’re off a 1000 A1 or A2. There is no pilot air screw. The A2 had 5DL needles.
