Kev you may need a few of them just to get one that will give you free enough movement without binding, can I assume you will be doing this on the bench without valves in the head.

Hi Wayne, looked at your pics, your carbs look like 28mm to me I had a set on my old A2, as you don't have the airbox rubbers on it would be easy to remove the carbs and reset the slides, the adjustment screws look quite low down in the nuts, it also does not mater whether its 20hg or 25hg on the ga...

A chap just up the road from me has one of these with the bodywork signed it rarely goes out as he has another seven old Brit bikes, an xs650, and modern trumpet for general use, all of which are surgically clean, I do like the hurricanes though.
