I have never seen or ridden any bike that did that, even in the days before I became built for comfort not speed. :D I strongly suspect those were engineered to do that with dodgy suspension and/or tyres. Then again, it was a Dunlop advert - they were shockingly bad tyres so maybe that IS what bikes...

Tyre stoppers/tyre grabbers/rim locks/wheel grabbers - multiple names for the same things :wink: I used some M8 button head screws and nuts on my alloy wheel.
