Standard oil filler cap

I am modifying the turbo drain hose route on the Saxon that used to go into the oil filler cap, so I now need a standard Zed oil filler cap as a replacement. As usual, will pay or swap for a set of speed & rev-counter face covers. Regs, Will. http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s1/bigfluff_01/P10...

It's not just the engineering skills that are highlighted during this project, it's the unique thought of overcoming every problem thrown at him
Amongst all the other work, the fuel tank filler is bloody excellent. :more

One thing to add is that you may experience a little oil weeping from the oilways around the outer studs on initial fire-up. This is because the piano wires have to be (highly) compressed into the copper head gasket before the mating surfaces of the block and head have chance to make contact with th...

Turbo:- Just got back from Leicestershire (240 mile round trip) after a turbo rebuild courtesy of Dave Dunlop. Turns out that the turbine impeller is actually a very rare 'A' flow item and not a 'B' flow as I first thought. :?: The 'A' flow impeller is a bit bigger than the already aggressive 'F' f...

Yes I know that's the ideal place for it, done it many times before... but I don't want to have to split the crankcases just for an oil return hose

Fully agree with Zorded....
You can't run cam caps without dowels and expect them to run true.!
Personally, I'd look for a replacement head. :??

A few mods to the Silver Saxon

After being ridiculed at the Yorkshire rally   I've decided to do something about the smoking Saxon Turbo. Turbo bikes do 'puff' a bit, especially under high boost (I'm running at 11psi) as quite a bit of unburnt fuel gets spat out. However, when hot and at standstill, the turbo emits quit...

As a matter of interest does anyone know a current source for these? I've got Ledar ones in my carbs from years ago but since Leon Moss died I don't know if anyone else ever did them... They certainly helped the std pilots cope if you take off the airbox Chris Have you tried Allens Performance ? Re...
