I have just bought a S T frame to do similar. Did you manage to shed any weight from the frame and did you brace it anywhere ? There isnt much weight to shed mate and no need to add more in bracing, the frame is solid, i would be more concerned about running gear, what front and back end to use, th...

The 400 j is very popular in Japan , a lot were exported back there in the 90's when they were cheap along with a few other models they are keen on. I supplied a few to Bat m/c's back then .

Another addition to the parts pile. Neither bike has any brake or clutch controls and i've been scouring Ebay etc for months and months for decent hydraulic cylinders that don't have road rash or covered in fur with snapped levers and still priced like they were made of gold when these popped up on...

Modern foot pegs on a Z frame

Has anyone found some modern rider pegs where the mountings fit a Z1000 A1 frame . Just mounting and pegs obviously gear linkage and r brake set up would need adapting. Thanks in advance
