He made a jig for holding the master cyclinder in and then put's it into the lathe
this bloke is a qualified engineer and is brilliant at fabrication as well
the thing's he can reproduce in aluminium are great

Dave my friend will do your own master cyclinder for about forty euro's which is about twenty pound's

don't know if you accurately value a Zed as price's are so high for good quality one's as for calling the VJMC tosser's they are generally not a bad lot after all they are keeping classic Japanese bike's at the forefront of the vintage bike scene they may have a different agenda than us as we specia...

sorry tpr the question about the padding material is it is just foam usually black in colour as its not seen i dont suppose the colour will matter

tpr first of all the foam is a standard fitting and yes it is to help cushion the clocks as regards the calipers i would'nt recomend sand blasting you could take them apart and use a paint stripper on the external parts and if you so desired you could have them repainted or powder coated and obvious...
