Rotate the crank two turns by hand in the normal direction of travel and see where the marks are then.

If you never want them to budge again I have a spare small tube of 648 that you can have if you PM me your address. 648 is good to 180DegC which might be enough?

Your clutch plates are sticking. The first this I would try is to readjust the clutch to normal and do as you've been doing but with the front wheel against a wall. Yes, Wurth heat resistant matt black. It covers well and stays exactly where it should, and seems to be the only one that does nowadays. I have two old KTMs and it looks great on their spannies and seems to hold up well. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wurth-Black-Spray-Paint-Resistant/dp/B00CTKWN4K

Z1000J or similar RH side panel lower fixing bracket

Does anyone have one of the above in any condition, the bracket that also holds the battery in place? Mine has unfortunately been replaced at some point with a hideous bit of aluminium...

chrisNI - I have your PM but can't seem to be able to reply. I've asked admin to look into this, but I am certainly interested. If you could please either PM me your number or email address I'd be most grateful.

Z1000J rearsets or UK footrest plates plus levers

Morning all,

Having realised that our American cousins are a strange shape compared to us, I need to move my US-spec footrests back a bit. Does anyone have the bits to do so (preferably period), including the gear lever and linkage and maybe a brake pedal, though I'd be happy to mod mine?
